EOP works closely with Student Support Services and the College Assistance Migrant Program,
which are also housed on the 3rd floor of Waldo Hall.  

Student Support Services (SSS – a TRIO Program)

SSS is a federally-funded program which provides services to a smaller cohort of students.  Services photo of SSSoffered by SSS include a summer bridge program for new students, academic skills assessment, supplemental academic and personal advising, peer and faculty mentoring, free tutoring, help with preparing for graduate school, and supplemental financial aid.  Membership in SSS is for those students who meet at least one of the following criteria:  1) being from the first generation in their family in college (neither parent has a four year degree); 2) meeting low-income guidelines; 3) having either a physical or learning disability.


College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) 

photo of CAMPCAMP is a federally-funded program designed to support students from seasonal farmworker backgrounds during their freshman year in college.  The program provides personal, financial, and academic support for students, as well as social and cultural enrichment activities.  The students have an opportunity to participate in a summer orientation program.  Students must meet federally mandated guidelines to qualify as being from a seasonal farmworker background.
